About the Artist

In a fit of ennui and in the spirit of self improvement I made the decision to step out of my comfort zone and enrol in A Bachelor of Fine Arts at Curtin University. A little different from my normal job in Data Management and Information Technology. I now find myself as a multi-disciplinary artist exploring my relationship with the Australian landscape. I have to admit though it’s mostly painting.

I have a limited colour perception (red/green colour blindness) and so a lot of my work uses a limited colour palette tending towards blues and browns. I hope that by examining how I personally relate to the Australian Landscape that surrounds me that the viewer can examine or re-examine how their own connection to the land.
